Three months after our 60 year reunion, I fell and fractured three ribs. I was in the hospital for six months and now live in Atria senior housing in Riverview.

Does anyone know how to reach your '62 classmate Judy Farquharson?  She was active in the choir during her Junior and Senior years.  I would love to talk with her.  Thanks for any help!

Hello class of 1962.:)   hello Cheralyn & Cheryl B. & Donnie,   Thank you Cheralyn for your Christian empathy for our deceased alumni,  & for me too.  It is rainy here in Winter always as you well know as you. & your hsndsome husband are alumni from University of Oregon that has a football game on today.   Our  Meghan is an alumnus FROM UO with a BS in PHYSIOLOGY  & is still a mansger in Austrialia with an another promotion over many people. Jayne  & I have a movie clip of Meghan playing the violin at age  5.   I WILL POST IT ON  " BILL15CLAIR" to hear her play should you desire as it is awesome.   Google "Bill15Clair" in early December, 2013 and you will love it perhaps for sure :)   Kind regards to our class of 1962  !!!! (ctrl/Cmd V)

Diane was a great friend and wrote nice thoughts in my Year book like Cheralyn would and with such presence, an Extremely intelligent lovely womwn that always made me feel welcomed and accepte!.

IT IS A REAL BUMMER TO SEE SO MANY GONE ALREADY, AND HERE IS  MY MOM NOW 96, ON AUGUST 9, & WHY CAN'T WE ALL LIVE TO BE 96 ?

EASTER SUNDAY TEACHES US:

THAT IT DOES NOT MATTER WHEN YOU DIE,  IF YOU BELIEVE IN HIM.  THAT PEDAGOGY WAS  "CG'S" PLANTED IN MY HEAD AT GRENVILLE COLLEGE 50 years ago & has CHANGED MY LIFE AND HAS PROTECTED ME FROM

EVIL AND BLESSED ME WITH MANY ALUMNI FRIENDS.

I KNEW FROM CG'S FAITH THAT my little faith in CHRIST WILL ALWAYS BE REAL TO ME and I grow and grow sronger in faith dear friends from claAss of 1962.

HOW ABOUT IT!  YOU DEAR people WILL HOLD OUR ALUMNI IN HIS HAND?  TO BE FORGIVEN! <>  OF THE DEATH of DIANS, ONE OF GOD'S PEOPLE!  DIANE JOHNS!   AND MY DAD TOO THAT DIED FROM A DEFECTIVE MAGNETRON THAT IS SUPPOSE TO NOT EVER GIVE OFF X-RAYS, BUT ONLY SAFE MICROWAVES FOR RADAR TO PROTECT US AND GIVE A WARNING OF GERMAN ATTACKS ONLY.

IN THE LATTER YEARS IT HAS BEEN ACKNOWLEDGED PRIVATELY "X-RAYS" CAUSE SEVERE, DNA DAMAGE, AND IF ZAPPED OFTEN LIKE MY DAD WAS & ACQUIRED DEATH AT 43, HAD NOT EVER KNOWN X-RAYS CAN HIT A SECOND GENERATION VIA RESIDUAL DNA DAMAGE EVEN AT THE ROCK OF  GIlBRALTAR AND NORTH AFRICA 100 YEARS AFTER THE FIRST HIT;  MY NEPHEW JOHNNY, & SISER BARBARA ARE SUFFERING FROM THAT SECOND HAND EXPOSURE VIA RADIATION THAT MODIFIES DNA:(

MAY WE ALL BELIEVE SO WE DO NOT HAVE TO FEEL LIFE IS UNFAIR AS WE

HAVE EASTER to nulify unfairness, HAVE ETERNAL LIFE, IF WE CHOOSE TO WANT IT.

DIANNE WAS A REAL WORTHY WOMAN WITH GOODNESS AND KINDNESS TO ME ALWAYS.

ENOUGH, YOU ALL KNOW THAT X-RAY STUFF IN DISGUISE DESTROYED OUR FAMILY FOR EVER IN SO MANY PEDAGOGICALLY WAYS a "thief in the night." We

Alumni must be careful and believe in Easter, as this is the real reality not BS  only Christ gives us the promise to make my dad's death fair, because he lives after his death & was a devote Episcopal Christian  & then Cheralyn came along and I finally got the total truth via the "GREEVILLE PEDAGOGY OF GOODNESS SUCH AS FREE THE SLAVES OVER 100 YEARS AGO AND A REMARKIABLE BRAVE GROUP TO NOT HAVE BEEN KILLED FOR THE SHEAR TENASITY TO FREE THE SLAVES AND GET THEM NORTH.

"Free Methodist", as they fought to save the black slaves and free them from

tyrany via slavery, beatings, and as if they were not humans, only slaves, & that's a hot topic in the South  and led me to become an Altar-boy, because slavery is violent & evil in

my being saved just to in particular get beat up like Jesus because of the colour of their skin. really done to keep me safe in Jesus via Greenville faculty, such as Dr Walters........and so we be tusted   in faith!  Faith that heals, never delibertly hurts like Christ on the cross, and never give up believing so as to become unequivicably at the right hand of Christ * holding his hand when you are scared, and that is what I learned from that Cheralyn Gallup and her family.

kind regards in Christ,

Bill Donnithorne

I heard Cheralyn Ruth Gallup's mother passed away, &
very sorry to learn about Mrs Gallup passing away.
Dr & Mrs Gallup were folks that changed my life, and in particular
Dr  D. Gallup treated me like a son by giving me time to share with
David, Judy, & Cheralyn at their home, and our trip to UM in Ann
Arbor to share classic movies and to have fellowship in Christ that
our Jesus is alive for ever!

In honour for their loss of Mrs Gallup I will sing in our church,  &'
continue to teach Sunday School for as long as I can.  The
Gallup's were the most signifying family at SHS that gave
me time to erudite Jesus is for real & forever! Easy to say
I did focus on their goodness. Because the truth is in us
thanks to their family, with it's goodness to me for decades
By establishing the leadership of Christ faith to heal us from
ourB

My condolences  to Dr & Mrs Denis Kindell for their loss via Cheralyn loosing
her mom this past month to travel to Heaven where theblessings
Blessings from Christ will surely continue to bless Cherslyn, Judy, David

Hi Everyone!
Well it has been almost a month since we were together for our fantastic reunion. "Bucky" and I really had a great time and enjoyed seeing and visiting with so many of you. There never is enough time, but hopefully many of us will stay in touch and even visit oneanother now that we have reconnected.

The rest of our trip around Michigan with our motor home and motorcycle was lovely. We had two great days of riding in the Traverse City area and we also got to see my son #2 and the newest grandson and visit with  son #3 and his fmaily in downriver area.

Hopefully fall will arrive soon an we will have some clooler weather herein Florida.

Once again thanks to the committee for the endless hours they spent making gathering such a nice event.

Incidently our phone number is 813-677-1364. My ex husband wrote me complaining he has been getting calls for Bucky and me at 386-847-8020.

Take care and God Bless!

Just want to say \'big thank you\' to Harry for his hard work & the rest of the Reunion Committee - great job.  This web site, as my grandkids would say, is awesome!  Classmate Leslie Douglas has been in/out of UM hospital since April (still there) - she wanted to say hello to everyone & she wished she could be at reunion.

I\'m so sorry that I can\'t make it to the reuion.  I was looking forward to gettng to know everyone again.  I went to the hospital the 2nd week for April for one thing and then proceeded to get various other things, finally ending with a collapsed lung.  I\'m once again in rehab.  Hope you all have a great time and look forward to seeng the photos and hearing the stories.  I plan on calling Dorthy Greca during the reunion to see how things are going.

I sure wish more of our classmates would put their bio\'s on this website, including some of the people I have been communicating with.

It is nice to see in writing what has been going on in their lives for 50 years.

Everyone has a story-some with more life events than others (good and bad)-but important as to how you arrived at this age-still alive and kicking.

So you classmates than are not attending sit down and write you bio-short or long-pretend it is an English class assignment-and just share with us!!!!

Well, we are down to 16 days before we leave Tampa Florida for Michigan.  This past year has gone by so fast, and it has been filled with some great communications with HS friends in one form or another.

This has truely been the best year of my life, that began when I returned from a cross country camping trip last May and found our 62\' 50th reunion website. My life has not been the same since I saw the names and contact information for classmates.

Can\'t wait to see all of you who are attending, but will miss those of you who can not attend. At our age so many things can go wrong in a year that make travel difficult. But we will raise our glasses to all of you not there and wish you well!

Safe travels to all of you heading to our 50th SHS Reunion. See you soon.

As I\'ve told Harry, despite my initial interest in attending our Reunion, life circumstances over the past year have accumulated to the point where another trip to MI (from our NC) at this time is just too much. However, this wonderful website and the communications I\'ve had with Harry over the past year and a half are the next-best-thing.  So, like Cheryl (Commons), I also want to thank Harry and the Reunion Planning Committee for the wonderful job you\'ve done and wish you all the best Reunion possible.  I\'ll miss you.As I said to Harry, I can only hope to see you at our 60th (?) reunion with the new hip I\'m about to get (and who knows how many other "bionic additions").  In the meantime, and especially because I\'ve lived away from MI since 1967, I\'ll just have to cherish the memories I have of all of you that are still stuck in 1962.

All camp ground reservations are made and can not wait to Hit the Road Again.

I want to say thankyou to our reunion committee for bringing so many of us back in touch with friends from our youth whom we have lost touch with.

Many of us are alone for one reason or another and rekindleing a friendship from the past is very special.

Wished I could have been at the "girls luncheon" that Rita spearheaded. Sounded like fun except for the weather-which is why I live in Florida.

Remember "Life is too short not to cherish each day.!"

Hi all,
Haven\'t been to this website for a long while when it first appeared, but am excited about how great it looks and all the features.  An excellant job!  Thanks Butch and all the others that have put so much into this reunion.  I didn\'t realize there were so many in places I\'ve been.  Been the last 17 years in the East Lansing area.  Couldn\'t stay away from the Spartans.  Looking forward to the reunion.  So many I knew, even lived down the block from that I\'d like to see again.  Dispite the sad list of those that have gone on, I hope the rest of us will make it to the reunion.  See you then, I hope.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to one and all!

I am having the happiest Holiday I have had in many, many years sharing my life with a special person in my life----and
Grandchild #11, William Russell Stroud, was born in Nov., the first child of #2 son Kenneth William. Little Will, is named after my father, whom my son adored, and two other great grandpas named Russell, and two grandpas named Russell.

He will grow up in the beautiful Traverse City Michigan, Leelanau County area.

My oldest son and family are coming for the first time to Fl from Broken Arrow OK, for the Holidays. So I will get to be with 2 of my kids and their families for the first time in 22 years. Yeah!

May God Bless Everyone and bring a more settled New Year to our Country!

Hey everybody, a friend and I just took my 30\' Motor Home to Pananma City Beach and spent two wonderful days at Lyle Hartka\'s "Emerald Coast RV Beach Resort". Check out his Web site to get a peak, but pictures do not do it justice.

It truely is the most beautiful RV park I have had the pleasure of staying at during my travels across this country. I can see why it was voted #6 in the country out of some 20K US RV Parks.

Lyle is still the sweet, nice guy I remember from our School Days. As he said it was nice having our own "little" High School reunion and catching up.

This is why a reunion is so much fun! Any of us that are still here, if at all possible, should try to attend, and enjoy the memories of a much simpler time. before we entered adult hood and all that went with it.

I know I felt light hearted and happy when it was time to leave my good friend and head on home to the Tampa area.

If you an RVer check it out.

It has been a long hot summer here in Florida, and my life has been crazy-but thanks to good friends that I have reconnected with on this website-I have ridden out the hurricane and am sailing into calm waters.

Can not wait to see everyone next Aug. Thinking about our happy "kid" times is refreshing in this mixed up world we are living in.

So you all come and "Let\'s have a party."

This is a great website! Thanks for all the hard work. I, too, was saddened to read about those of us who have passed on. Some were good friends, and many evoked fond memories. It will be fun to see everyone. This is something I\'ve wanted to be a part of. I moved just before junior year and am very grateful to be part of this reunion!

Hey everybody isn\'t this fun getting in touch with "old" friends.  Since I live in Florida I can\'t be much help in the planning stages-but I would sure like to.

It is sad to read of the passing of many of our classmates-unfortuantely that come with getting to be "Senior -Senior Citizens".

Hope to see a lot of you in person in Aug.2012!
