August 9, 2005 Detroit Princess Cruise
This week Rita, Judy B. and I took the Detroit Princess for a cruise on the Detroit river from where it was docked near Cobo Hall, north along the Canadian side to near the end of Bell Isle then back south to near the Ambassador Bridge and back to its docking location. The boat was crowded with 3 floors occupied with people and entertainment. The banquet lunch was good and plentiful. After lunch we spent all our time on deck 4 in the open so we could see the sights, so missed all the entertainment going on at each of the 3 decks. It happened that the Tall Ships were also nearby docked at Hart Plaza.
