Our reunion was a success. There were 32 classmates who purchased tickets. Ron Cohen boutht two tickets and donated them to the Committee to help cover expenses and Louie Maiberger donated a ticket when his girlfriend was not able to come. Diane Murphy Blizek notified us the day of the event that she contracted Covid and was unable to attend. Mary Brauer and her sister Sally never arrived.
Thank you to Judy, Rita, Sue and Chuck for their help in organizing the reunion. Chuck was responsible for guiding us to Fox Hills to hold the event and being an engineer he developed a spread sheet to help determine the number of tickets purchased needed to cover costs. Rita, Judy and Sue personally called many classmates encouraging them to attend. Judy an Sue collaborated to design and make a very attractive center piece for the tables. Judy provided an attractive and festive backdrop that was used for staging pictures of classmates and guests, plus many sign props to add some humor to the picture. Rita provided some baklava and cookies to supplement the dessert table and Sue provided chocolate mints.
The Fox Hills venue was an excellent venue providing attractive views of the golf course and grounds. There was a wide deck with chairs, tables and umbrellas and although the weather was fine for sitting out there, no one took advantage of it but for only a few minutes.
The music could have been better. We choose to use Fox Hills's Pandora account and there was a play list of 60's hits, but it was not as good as what we could have provided had we chosen to use the playlist of music that we had for the 50th year reunion. But that required resurecting the music from an old computer and paying an extra $75 for a mixer. We already had one laptop for the Facebook live stream and another for the PowerPoint presentations, so for simplicity we decided to go with Pandora. In the end I don't think our classmates paid much attention to what was being played.

Please purchase your ticket(s) as soon as possible but no later than July 11th. A final count must be reported to Fox Hills on July 13 so they can purchase the food.

The food will be served to us at our tables. You must notify me of yours and any guest's selection not later than
July 11th, but preferably by June 1. Placecards with the dinner selection will be provided to you and guests when you enter for you to display at your table to aid the staff serving the dinners.
Write in the Memo space of your payment check a "C" for chicken, "S" for steak and "V" for Vegetable lasagna or if using Venmo, state your choice(s) in the "What's this for" space.
