Louis Edward Maiberger, Jr. age 79 of Southfield, Michigan passed away August 10, 2023.
He was born June 23, 1944 in Southfield, Michigan to Louis and Nina (nee Stores) Maiberger. After graduating from Southfield High School he served in the United States Army's Tank Division where he excelled as a tank mechanic.
In 1962 he started a successful towing business in Southfield, that is still serving the community today.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Nina, and his sister Marleen Roe. He is survived by his three children, Louis Maiberger III, Danielle Bagley and Christopher Maiberger. His brothers, Donald and Robert Maiberger, and his grandchildren Alex Maiberger, Austin Maiberger, Aiden Bagley, Katie Bagley, Ella Maiberger, Jason McDonald and Lauren McDonald.
There will be a memorial gathering Thursday, August 17th from 1:00 - 4:00pm at the Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Home, 705 W. Eleven Mile Road, (4 blocks east of Woodward), Royal Oak.
