Joanna C. Stoddard, a resident of Macomb, Michigan passed away on April 26, 2022 at the age of 79.
She was born June 30, 1942 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Joseph and Beryl Murphy Perkins.
On August 23, 1986 in Brighton, Michigan, she was united in marriage to Duane Stoddard. He preceded his wife in death in 1989.
After graduating from Southfield High School in special education, she was employed in assembly in various factories. Later she was a homemaker. She practiced her Catholic faith and was a cheerful happy person, who gave joy to those around her. She followed several tv series, enjoyed listening to her favorite artist Elvis and had an angel collection.
She is survived by her children, Lewis (Mary) Roberts, Carla Roberts and Paul Roberts. She was the proud grandmother of Jessica, Nicole, Joshua, Lauren, Darien and Adrian. Two sisters Mary D’Herin and Verda Anders also survive.
Besides her biological parents, she was preceded in death by husbands Jack Roberts and Duane Stoddard, brother Chuck Perkins, sister Patricia Garris and Betty and Carl Perkins who raised her.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Harold W. Vick Funeral Home, 140 South Main, Mt. Clemens, Michigan.
Burial will take place at Clinton Grove Cemetery, Clinton Township, Michigan.
