Jack (Jacko) Hancock passed away at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan on the evening of April 25, 2019 – surrounded by family and friends.
He was born on November 16, 1943 to Jack and Kathryn in Detroit, Michigan. He was a remarkable athlete, skating for the Junior Red Wings, and was also the loving husband of his dear wife Cathy for 44 years. His infectious, encouraging and content personality will be deeply missed by his two daughters Lindsey and Courtney and their husbands the two Nates. Jack was very proud of his three grandchildren; Paige, Luke and Emery. He is survived by his younger brother Gregory Hancock and was preceded in death by his younger sisters Jill Hancock and Nancy Singleton (Hancock).
Jack will forever be remembered for simply loving life and bringing immense joy to those around him. He enjoyed playing golf, soaking up the sun on warm days, watching/listening to any Detroit sports team and spending his free time with his loving wife Cathy and his dear friends and family.
He lived his life loving the Lord with all of his heart.
