New Baltimore - Richard "Dick" Carl Carlson, age 77 a 28 year resident of New Baltimore, passed away May 1, 2021. Dick was born on December 23, 1943 in Detroit, Michigan to Evar and Eva (DeClerk) Carlson. He graduated from Western Michigan University with an Engineering Degree. Dick enjoyed spending time with his family, gardening with his wife, boating and he loved animals. He raced offshore boats and won several championships. His love for marine and the boating industry continued as he had many different roles. Dick was retired from Ford Motor Company. He is survived by his beloved wife Barbara, his daughter Julie (James) Andes, his grandchildren Addison and Connor, his brothers Ron (Shirley) Carlson and Roger Carlson. Services will be private.
